Congratulations to Aimee Pinto on attaining her 3rd Dan. Aimee is also our newly qualified English Kata Official. Squad training Sunday 27th April 9-30 to 12-30 Sunday 25th May 9-30 to 12-30 Sunday 22nd June 9-30 to 12-30 Commonwealth Karate Championship, Edinburgh Sat 31st May & Sunday 1st June Black belt grading Somerset July 3rd to 6th. Summer School 2008 Commences from Monday 28th July to Friday 1st August inclusive. As previous years every one registered will be upgraded. The course will apply to white belt (8th kyu) up to Blue belts (4th Kyu) inclusive. The course cost £85 per person, includes grading cost & daily training. Venue: Mark Hall Sports Centre. Time 10 to 12 o'clock. Limited places available. Please make sure you pay & register in advance. International Karate Championship Budapest. 20th & 21st September. Hanko-Ryu Squads are planning to enter the above championship. This event is open to 8 years upwards for Kata & Kumite. More details will be on the website soon. Swedish Kata Trophy March 2009, Hanko-Ryu Squads are planning to go to Stockholm, Sweden for the one day Kata Trophy Tournament, this would be our 3rd visit to this competition. More details later, as soon as we get the exact date. Summer 2009 in Spain. Lots of fun & grading for Brown belts (1st,2nd &3rd Kyu) & Black belt Dan grading. More details later. |
